Madison City Schools have deployed a weapons detection dog named Gemini to patrol local high school campuses, including James Clemens and Bob Jones.

Gemini is trained to detect guns, knives and other weapons to enhance school safety and security measures.

The dog will conduct sweeps of the school campuses and parking lots to deter potential threats and provide a reassurance to students and staff.

The presence of Gemini aims to create a safer learning environment and prevent any potential incidents involving weapons on school grounds.
