Amerigo

Amerigo has been a regional favorite for decades, first opened in Ridgeland, MS and eventually coming to the Huntsville area to serve the North Alabama community.

The interior offers a polished yet comfortable dining room: white tablecloths, soft lighting, and an atmosphere that works for date nights, family meals and business dinners alike.

The menu covers a wide range of Italian classics... pastas, pizzas, seafood, steaks and gluten‑sensitive options...

Visitors have been raving about their Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Cedar-Roasted Fish of The Day and their bread and Artichoke Dip.

The price range is moderate with major entrees generally in the $18‑$30 range.

What Locals Are Saying...
“The food was delicious! Service couldn’t have been better!” —
“The service was exceptional and the food amazing. If you like your alfredo sauce with a kick, I highly recommend the mushroom ravioli.” —

If you’re looking for a reliable Italian restaurant near Madison with atmosphere, solid service and a full menu to choose from, Amerigo checks nearly every box. It works as a dinner out for two, a family celebration or a business meal. The ambiance makes it feel like more than just “Italian‑to‑go.”

The fact that they offer gluten‑sensitive options is a bonus for those with dietary needs.

Amerigo Italian Restaurant combines comfort, style and approachable Italian dining just a short drive from Madison. Whether you’re craving classic pasta, fresh seafood or a memorable night out, this spot fits the bill.

I Don't Get Up To Turn Off The Lights Anymore

I would get into bed and get comfortable and then the other half would whisper... "Did you turn off the kitchen light."

Then I’d have to debate with myself for five minutes before finally getting up.

Not anymore.

Now I just say, “Hey Siri, lights off,” and it’s done.

Living room, porch, bedroom... lights out, mood set and I didn’t lift a finger. I can even dim the entry light from the grocery store before I get home, so it looks like I planned to be this put-together.

Everything syncs with my iPhone. Smooth, instant, deeply satisfying.

Is it necessary? No.

Is it life-changing? Absolutely.

You already talk to Siri. Now let her handle the lights, too.

Moms With Mops - Cleaning Homes with a Mother's Touch

If you ask Ashley Alvarado what being part of the Madison community means to her, she won’t talk about business plans or market share. She’ll talk about people. About helping those in need. About loving her neighbors. About being there when things get tough.

And that’s the exact spirit behind her business, Moms with Mops... a local cleaning service built not just to clean houses, but to support families, uplift moms and give every home the kind of care it truly deserves.

Ashley founded Moms with Mops after becoming a young single mother who needed work that could fit her life. What started as a necessity quickly turned into a calling and eventually, a mission to help other moms do the same.

Her team? All real-life moms, many of them Spanish-speaking, who bring warmth, empathy and elbow grease into every home they serve.

“We’re not just another cleaning company,” she says. “We bring the mother’s touch... the kind of detail, love and trust that only comes from someone who truly understands what it means to care for a home.”

Whether you need help once or on a regular schedule, Moms with Mops offers..

🧺 Residential & Commercial Cleaning
🧹 Specialty Services: Post-construction clean-ups, garages and deep cleans
🌱 Eco-Friendly Options: Healthier for your family and the planet
🧼 Organizing Services: Declutter your space and your stress
🗓️ Flexible Scheduling: Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or one-time cleans

And here’s something extra sweet... after 4 regular cleanings, you’ll get 20% off your next one... A thank-you from this mama-led team to your family.

When you hire Moms with Mops, you’re not just getting a clean home... you’re investing in local moms who need flexible, family-first careers... a cleaner, safer neighborhood... and a small business that’s rooted in faith, hard work and love for our community
