My Daughter Said What?

At 20, I could walk barefoot across gravel, dance all night and still make it to work the next morning without so much as a blister.

At 40? Let’s just say… things are different.

It snuck up on me... those rough patches, that dry edge that caught on socks, the silent “shh shh” when I walked across hardwood floors.

I didn’t think much of it until my daughter handed me a pair of sandals and said, “Dad, you should probably do something about that.”

So I did.

Now, I’ve got smooth heels, quieter floors and a newfound appreciation

for little tools that make life better.
