If you’ve been craving bold Indian flavors close to home or closer to home, Kohinoor Indian Cuisine is the newly opened gem you’ve been waiting for.

This new addition to Madison’s dining scene takes over the former Goodland Pour House building and brings authentic Indian cooking with a full buffet and a la carte options that celebrate rich spices and classic recipes.

Inside you’ll find familiar favorites like tikka masala, saag, biryani and gobi manchurian that recent diners already rank among the best in the area. More than just another curry spot, Kohinoor Indian Cuisine gives Madison residents a closer option for Indian food without the usual drive to Huntsville.

While some note it runs a bit pricier than other local spots, most agree the flavors and portions deliver. With a lunch buffet and a full dinner menu, it’s shaping up to be an easy go-to for both everyday meals and special occasions.

If you’re new to Indian cuisine or a longtime fan, Kohinoor Indian Cuisine offers something to dig into. Bring friends or family and make an evening of trying their favorites.

Why Didn't Anyone Remind Me?

When I was younger... waaaay younger... I use to always watch my mother take in a tablespoon of Folgers into her coffee cup (kinda like the one they have at Cracker Barrel).

Throughout most of my adult life... I'd always use a filtration system... more recently... a Keurig or just went some where to get my coffee.

Well now I'm reflecting and seeing that I'm now doing the same thing my mother did many years ago. But not with Folgers 🤮. Don't judge 😊

You can get it locally at Kroger... but please be thoughtful and leave me a can (in case I run out). But you can get it via subscribe & save, save a little bit and delivered to your door.

Oh by the way... this has saved me soooooo much money. You'll understand!

If missed last weeks newsletter and tired of stuff going into the cracks... get a pair of these.

šŸ’” Answer to Trivia Question:

C) 363 feet

It was used to test Saturn V rockets and Space Shuttle structures and was just demolished after decades as a Rocket City landmark. The other structure, the T‑tower (Propulsion and Structural Test Facility), stood about 175 feet tall.
