Here’s a look at the 7-day weather forecast for Madison, AL:

Mia's Cafe

Mia’s Cafe is one of those spots the locals have come to love. It is built around Southern comfort food with a big breakfast crowd and a steady lunch rush. You will see plenty of regulars and that tells you a lot.

It's casual and family-friendly. Order, get comfortable and expect a steady hum of folks enjoying their meal before the day gets away from them. Also worth noting: no alcohol.

Keep it simple or branch out a bit. Breakfast plates with eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits and hashbrowns... Pancakes, French toast and kid breakfast options... Omelets and breakfast burritos... Lunch favorites like BLT, burgers, chicken salad sandwich and open-face roast beef.

Reviews out there tend to highlight that “home cooked” feel, solid portions and friendly service. A common theme is that breakfast hits especially well and that it is an easy place to bring family when you want something comforting and familiar. I've been here a handful of times and enjoy the simplicity.

Go early if you want to beat the crowd. If you are new, start with a breakfast plate or pancakes then come back for lunch classics once you find your favorites.
