Doing laundry in space is harder than it sounds but researchers at the University of Alabama in Huntsville may have a solution.

Working with NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, professor Dr. Gabe Xu is developing a handheld "laundry gun" that uses cold plasma to kill bacteria on clothing and equipment without a single drop of water or cleaning chemical.

Beyond laundry, the technology could eventually support space agriculture, water purification, waste processing and even soil treatment on other planets.

Corralejos Mexican Grill is a family-run Mexican restaurant on Old Monrovia Road near the Providence and MidCity side of Huntsville.

The story behind the name comes from owner Lalo Penilla's childhood on a dairy farm in Mexico, where he would chase cows and shout "corralejos," a word the restaurant says means "run far away." Over time, the name became tied to his idea of working hard and chasing bigger dreams.

For readers, Corralejos adds a solid Mexican dinner option in a busy part of town where people are already bouncing between work, errands, shopping and events. The restaurant also runs a food truck and offers catering, so on top of a sit-down stop, you can call them when planning a party or stalk their roving locations.

The menu covers the usual favorites but the menu has lots of other choices. Start with chips, salsa and guacamole, then look at the fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas, nachos or enchiladas. If you want something more specific, the menu lists items like Tacos del Patron with grilled sirloin steak, guacamole, whole pinto beans and pico de gallo. They also have Pollo Hawaiiano with grilled chicken, pineapple, cheese sauce and mango pico plus a full kids menu for families.

Expect a colorful dining room, friendly service and a menu that works for lunch, dinner or a group get together. If you haven't been, definitely a spot to try.
