What To Do If I See a Dog On The Loose

Q: What’s the first thing I should do if I see a loose dog?
Stay calm and observe from a distance. Check if the dog appears injured or aggressive. If it’s safe, try to gently secure it using a leash or coax it into a fenced area, but never chase the dog as it can cause panic or lead to accidents.

Q: Who should I contact?
Call Madison Animal Control at (256) 772‑5694 during business hours and (256) 722-7190 after business hours. Be ready to give a location, description of the dog, and whether it seems hurt or aggressive.

Q: What if the dog has no collar or ID?
If you’re able to safely secure the dog, check for a microchip by bringing it to a local vet or shelter. Meanwhile, post on community platforms like Nextdoor, Lost and Found Pets - Huntsville,AL/Madison County (Facebook) or PawBoost to help reunite the pet with its owner.

What If Better Health Could Start With Your Finger

Every summer, it heats up... not just with temperature, but with long days, family gatherings and schedules that wear us out. That’s exactly why my other half decided to test something new. She was tired of waking up groggy and guessing at her wellness so she put a ring on it.

She didn’t expect a life change... but two weeks in, she noticed that the data that was being captured was a lot better than the Apple Watch. It tracked her sleep quality, daily readiness, and even subtle body signals that helped her detect stress and adjust her day before burnout hit.

No confusing dashboards. Just quiet, accurate data that helped her become more intentional with her energy. And she swears by it.

Whether you're managing a family, beating the Alabama heat or trying to stay on top of your health without adding more noise to your life... the Oura Ring could be the nudge you need toward a better balance.

Honestly I feel like my other half needed to counter balance me 🤣
